Ride onboard with Lee Cunningham as he battles through the pack at the stunning Mugello Circuit in Round 3 of the TopJet F2000 Formula Trophy.
Driving a Dallara Formula 3 car, Lee was forced to start from the very back of the grid in P26 after a technical issue prevented him from taking part in qualifying. What followed was a masterclass in determination and racecraft, carving his way through the field to finish 9th overall and 3rd in class - securing a podium on his first-ever visit to Mugello.

F3 Dallara on slick tyres at very cold and wet Oulton Park International Circuit. Lee had to use all his experience to gain a class podium on this slippery and challenging track.
A unique event at the 2024 Brands Hatch Auto Italia day for Lee Cunningham to demo the beautiful ex-First Racing / Marco Apicella 1989 F3000 Reynard 89D which has been lovingly restored by Edginton Racing. Great to be on track with the former Benetton's of Michael Schumacher & Nelson Piquet and put on a show for the big crowd!
Lee Cunningham was entrusted, and had the privilege, to shake down and test the ex-Jean Alesi Championship-Winning F3000 Reynard 89D - the car which launched Alesi's career to F1. He was a Grand Prix winner for Ferrari and one of the flamboyant drivers of the '90s. This amazing piece of motorsport history, restored by Edington Racing, is brought back to life by Lee, and hopefully he does it justice on the fast and flowing Donington Park circuit.
Lee’s first outing in a 301 Dallara chassis on the challenging Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch, despite running with used tyres he still manages to lap with over 100 mph average speed and secure 1 pole position, 1 fastest lap and a P2 & P3 with a new race car and team.
Cadwell Park is one of the hardest circuits to race on in the UK and the hardest to pass on in any series let alone anyone make championship, Lee shows great skill and technique in “The Art of Over Taking” in an Atom Cup race meeting which he went on to source 2 podium finishes including one victory.
A rare chance for Lee to race Nick Edginton’s beautiful and lovingly restored F3 Dallara 382 one of only a dozen chassis produced in period by the famous Italian manufacture and on such an iconic street circuit as PAU in its unchanged format, a real challenge for any racing driver and one venue and race car which have great pedigree and requires respect.
